About Me
Hey there! ^_^ I'm Kelvin, although please feel free to call me Kyon, Kel, or any other name you may wish to call me (that I approve of, of course! :P) But I'll leave that for you to decide! :P
I'm 19 years of age, and am loving life to the fullest! :)
I love meeting new people, and trying something new - it's good to have some variety in life, and is partly what makes it worth living! :D
And with that, it makes logical sense to assume that I love to travel - which I do indeed! ;D Having lived in so many different countries, I still find it fascinating and intriguing that there is so much diversity within the planet we call home! ^^
I'm curious about so many things in life, and with this curiosity, it motivates me to be adventurous and to try and find out as many things about the world as I can! :) Just as long as it doesn't kill me of course - I mean, who hasn't heard of the phrase "Curiosity kills the cat?" >_<
Speaking of cats, I love animals. I have had two cats, several hamsters, a Cockatiel (a type of large bugdie), and some gold fish. Although I do love foxes most of all! :)
Techonology intrigues me. I often wonder how my iPhone works for instance. Although I keep telling myself it isn't magical pixies at work, I'm not so convinced.. xD
I like to mess around on Photoshop, although I'm still somewhat of a novice on it, but I'll hopefully master it someday! :)
Learning languages is another hobby of mine. I'm currently learning Japanese since I love Japan so much! :) On top of that, I know of two other languages, which are English and Tagalog (or Filipino). :)
I also like to watch Anime from time to time, one of my favourites being "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya." As for Cosplaying, I have been to Anime conventions (Ayacon is one Con that comes to mind), and I think I did reasonably well as it was my first con, but I am still an amateur Cosplayer when it comes down to it! >_< Still, I thoroughly love them with a passion! :)
Musical tastes - well, I listen to all kinds of music, but I'm more into Rock and Metal, although at the moment, I have been listening to Classical music - partly due to help myself relax over the Festive Season we call Christmas.
I have been known on occasion to sing, although I think my singing voice is quite horrendous, others say it is quite nice, although I'm not sure if they really mean that! ;P
I also love reading books. Charles Dickens is one of my favourite authors of all time (with Great Expectations being arguably the best book in my honest opinion), but I also have been reading books from Harper Lee (To Kill a Mockingbird in particular, if you must know! :P) and I am enjoying it so far! :)
I truly believe in caring and helping for others - it makes the world a better place to live in, and it's what we should be doing as humans anyway :) I love to smile, laugh, and to live life as it was meant to be lived! ^^
To sum it all up, I'm anything but ordinary, and for those that know me well, you guys all know that's pretty much true! But don't just take my word for it - I believe words aren't as strong as actions, so let me show you who I am instead! :)
By the way - if you really knew me well, you wouldn't be reading this now, would you? ;P
